Business Education

The words 'business education' are displayed in a digital, blue font against a dark background of code.

Business education facilitates learning in a student-directed environment based upon learning for and about business. Learners are guided in many ways as they develop skills necessary to be effective consumers, citizens, workers, and business leaders.  Students gain initial business skills to prepare for a successful future and are encouraged to continue career exploration and demonstrate their knowledge through work experience and student organizations.  The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is an organization that is available to business education students.  Opportunities exist for students to develop leadership and social skills as they participate in a variety of educational, vocational, civic, recreational, and social activities.
